When artists seek to do a master copy of an artist’s work , we kind of know we won’t get anywhere near, but it never stops me trying! Everything about Alan Lee’s @alanaplee work astounds me. His intuitive response to landscape, the searching line, the poetry, and the complexity that plays a rhythm.

Magical regionalism is a term I’ve coined to represent my new body of work.
Magic regionalism is specific to a place - Australia’s historic past- and is rooted in an attitude of spiritual connection to this ancient land.

Encounter at Rippon Lea.
The stunning conservatory and exotic planting at Rippon Lea estate. Frederick Sargood designed an underground irrigation system in the 1860s. Stunning ingenuity.

Adeline Snow crow thrives in the bleakest of Winters. She knows how to break open stone to find warmth, & light. She understands despair & knows the secret of keeping it from any heart.
You’ll hear her call in the darkest dawn & frostiest twilight. Know there’s always hope.

Meet Annabelle- (my dabble into textile art). Annabelle wakes just before dawn to go traipsing through the Hare Bell Wood, looking for any eggs have inadvertently fallen or been thrown from nests. She collects them and raises the offspring as her kin. #handmadedoll #artdoll #fibreart #textileart

My tribute to Leonor Fini- wild, fiercely independent, wonderful surrealist artist. If you don’t know her. Look her up. You’re in for a treat.
