Amazing that women don't want to have more babies, i can't imagine why when men are so great

Mick Jagger has signed a petition opposing a plan that would provide affordable homes for at least 190 people because it would spoil his view from the other side of the river

Whatever happened to Gimme Shelter?

I've met Gregg Wallace, and since he's retained lawyers that's probably all i should say. But the BBC has questions to answer about why it has indulged a man who's behaviour has been an open secret in the media for years

Gregg Wallace was inappropriate with me, but his bosses are also to blame - City AM
It shouldn't have taken powerful "middle class women of a certain age" for BBC bosses to do something about Gregg Wallace

Chatting to a black cab driver today and it turned out he was the photo setter who created this iconic front page - he cut out the picture of the lightbulb by hand!

London really is incredible

We’ve all try to sound as impressive as possible in our CVs, Rachel Reeves’ problem is that she overpromised for the City

This is absolutely right and watch out for Monday’s City AM for a piece elaborating on this report.

I’d also add that the same principles should apply to MPs’ staff, who do an absurdly important job relative to pay/experience
On Wed we @reformthinktank.bsky.social published 'Grown up government', looking at the role of political support

I'm prepared to be unpopular...

We need more SpAds, we need to pay more for them & we need to give ministers much greater flexibility to appoint to a variety of roles

Let me explain 🧵

Immiserating taxpayers to meet an arbitrary goal won’t just be a disaster for growth, it will erode support for the green agenda, putting current investment and – more importantly – future lives at risk
