As my 6-year-old says, I may have the brain rot. midwestfilmjournal.com/2025/10/17/f...

Just thinking about how Boy Kavalier is one of the best character names I’ve ever heard. I’m really taken with Alien: Earth (and Timothy Olyphant’s platinum locks, obvs)

FANTASIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS is just.... fine. My 6yo liked it a lot but I was never very thrilled or invested in anything happening, even with the baby as the driving force of the plot. THUNDERBOLTS* was Marvel's slamdunk this year yet nobody saw it, womp womp

A movie about kindness for kindness’s sake and doing your best to take care of the people you love.

Yeah, we always need PADDINGTON 2.

Catch it at 10a Tuesday at the Historic Artcraft Theatre.

In the reply, find Evan Dossey's original 2018 review as well as a ticket link.

Everything is fucked, but yesterday 6yo came home from summer camp singing “We Will Rock You,” and then “Golden Years” came on in the car, and I’m taking that as a sign that it’s time to bring back Hot Knight Summer
