Bournemouth had us sussed from the off today. All over the full backs in the first 5 minutes and gave us no time on the ball. They’ve some very good players who could leave for big money. #NUFC

One of the best Newcastle performances I’ve ever seen, especially given the occasion. Brilliant #NUFC

Ridiculous how there’s no football on Christmas Eve.

More chickens coming home to roost after the shambolic summer at #NUFC. Failing to sign a decent keeper and now a month without the only half decent one. Predictably Wilson out for most of the season and Osula seemingly nowhere near, so only one striker Howe is prepared to use. It’s not all PSR.

Shearer spot on in his comments last night. Some of the journos have said similar but have framed it as letting the manager down, which is wrong for me as he has to take most responsibility for what happening. #NUFC

This is an awful campaign by the Premier League and Stonewall. Players wearing it aren’t ’showing support’ for the cause. They’re doing it because they have to or they get fingers pointed at them. The way the PL and Stonewall have played it, it just becomes another battle in the culture war.

An XG of 0.02 against a team in the relegation zone, with the money we’ve spent on our team. If it was a one off, fine, but good performances are rarer than bad ones now. I’m not sure what our strengths are supposed to be now we barely ever score. #NUFC

‘More time on the training pitch’ #NUFC

Well Eddie got next to nothing right there. Joelinton on the right was a bizarre decision. Lack of intensity all night and no plan b. Like Brighton, the changes made things worse. Worst performance in a long long time. #nufc

Huge game tonight given the table. A win and we’re keeping pace with many of the top teams. Never confident on a Monday night though. #nufc

No player has been more creative in the league for #NUFC this season than Joe Willock 💪🏻

▪️3 'big chances' created (joint 1st)
▪️5.49 shot-creating actions per 90 (1st)
▪️0.55 goal-creating actions per 90 (1st)

What a miss he's been! 🌟

As i said i would, put together an initial starter pack of Newcastle Fans ive came across or interacted with so far on here. As a difference to the "Media" based ones floating about to just find some like minded fans in the community. Share for visibility and reply if you want added ⬇️ #nufc

Good watch this; seeing the impact it had on those involved in the music industry through the 90s. The tabloid culture, especially at the News of the World was poisonous. Nearly everyone seems to have come out of it damaged, apart from Simon Cowell.
Can massively recommend this three-part series on boybands that’s on iPlayer. Great interviews, much more serious than you’d imagine but still at times a lot of fun. Robbie Williams comes across as a really thoughtful bloke. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m0024qbx/boybands-forever-series-1-e…
Boybands Forever - Series 1: Episode 1
It’s the early 90s, and Take That are vying with East 17 for both teenage hearts and chart dominance, giving birth to a British pop phenomenon which would define the decade.

I see a lot of the usual over promoted accounts on ‘X’ saying that those joining this ‘can’t handle free speech’. Nonsense really. People probably just want something more like what they originally joined. X is almost unusable for following football now.

Livingston 1-0 Falkirk. Pretty dreadful game to be honest, especially for 2nd v 1st, but a great winner from Yengi. They need to ban those plastic pitches. Like a pinball game.

International weekends aren’t the best. Fancied a game so it’s between Livingston-Falkirk and Dunfermline-Airdrie. Top two or bottom two. Went for Livi and £24 lighter. 🥺
