I feel like 2020 was a year where much of humanity bonded with one another in the face of hardship, connected with what truly mattered, and found new interests to explore. But a minority felt left out and just got mad about it instead.

Being distracted by thoughts in meditation is inevitable. Do not beat yourself up over it. The actual practice is simply noticing that you’ve been distracted, and bring yourself back to your object of focus, whether that be the breath, a mantra or whatever.
