So evidently the new SNAP program policy for trump is simple; if you live in a red state you get food, and if you live in a blue state, you go hungry.

Before 2016, any President or presidential candidate who said and did the things 45 and 47 has said and done, would be drummed out of office or crushed in elections. Hell, Carter almost lost because of admitting "impure" thoughts. Imagine Bush calling for political opponents to be killed ? Insanity!

Absolutely not!. Non starter! Nope!! The Rethuglians are playing the Democratic bases off against each other. Don't even go down that path!
Republicans demand tougher abortion restrictions to extend Obamacare funds
Democrats say that’s a nonstarter, arguing there are already limits on abortion access. The dispute could torpedo a deal, leading to higher health insurance premiums for millions.

Thank you seems like not enough but thanks to all who served. Today, we honor your service and sacrifice. I honor my father, uncle and brother who answered the call while our so called leader dodged the responsibility based on his parents wealth and " bone spurs"

My New Mexican delegation voted no tonight and I am glad they did. The eight who voted with the Rethuglians will pay a price although many are not running again or were vulnerable in the first place. Hopefully, some younger progressive candidates will enter the respective primaries.

The Fascist republicans want to destroy Obamacare. They have wanted to for decades. They will NEVR extend subsidies! The government can't stay shutdown for 6 months either. Too much damage to economy & jobs. We need an operating government. The only option is to win back control of Congess in 26.
November 9, 2025 at 11:48 PM
Any funding resolution to reopen the government is NOT clean if it excludes subsidies for healthcare. In fact, such a resolution is filthy dirty. I was fortunate to only be on Obamacare for two years, but I would not have survived or had healthcare if it wasn't for the subsidies.

In 1976, I went to my first concert at 16. It was Bruce Springsteen following the release of Born to Run. I saw him perform 12 times in my lifetime. I was at the 1981 concert in Cincinnati, which opens the film Deliver Me from Nowhere I saw today. I never knew his darkness. It is a powerful film!

Aristotle stated that politics is the master science, but he meant that politics ( government, etc) controls our lives, including what we can do including what we can study, even in the field of science. He never said it was a good thing. Politics truly has no business in pure science.

The orange dictator promoted violence from the day he started his campaign in 2015. Go back & listen to him. The escalation of gun violence in the past ten years from an already bad situation before is directly placed at his feet. This country is at a level of gun violence unseen in our history

Well, of course he does. For the orange one, it's always been about revenge and hate for those he deems his enemies. Tom Hanks has done a ton of work for the military and veterans and has portrayed the character of those who served exceedingly well.
