This fall I explored Shenandoah National Park for the first time. Camping at Big Meadows campground gave me a nice central location for some fun rock scrambles, waterfall hikes, and wildlife viewing.

At the end of September I made my first trip to Shenandoah National Park. As someone who loves waterfalls, obviously I had to do the Cedar Run-Whiteoak Circuit.

I spent 2 days in Grindelwald (but easily could’ve spent 2 weeks). Day 1 I visited Grindelwald Glacier Canyon, and day 2 I visited Jungfraujoch, but there is so much more to do here.

Col de la Puina is not nearly as popular as other hikes in the Dolomites like Tre Cime di Lavaredo, but it does have some amazing mountain views.

I saved the most difficult trek for last. Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley are higher than I’ve ever been before. The summit of Rainbow Mountain sits at 16,522', well over 2,000' past the highest point I had been previously.
