This is the cover art I did for NOVA, a manga zine from the 1980's. I was a huge fan of Patalliro, and had the albums, laser disc film, and most of the manga. I don't keep up with it anymore, but I really loved the unique art style.

Avatar (blue people), some superhero movies, nearly every romcom, if men were treated the way that women were in these movies they would be instantly put in the “slop that’s just for women” bin to laugh at. Maybe one would make it into pop culture every so often (Twilight).
