I have a somewhat naive question. What would have happened had King Abdullah gotten up and just walked out while Trump was spewing his vile remarks about the authority to just take Gaza? I know answers will include diplomatic norms, aid package at risk… But the message “we won’t roll over” matters.

So … checks notes… when they were protesting the genocide y’all either were silent or called them bad actors. Kamala and Joe did nothing to protect them. They let pro Israelis & cops arrest & beat them. But protesting deportations is good, right? I mean *I* think it is, but we need some consistency.

Unpopular opinion: USAID is the “social services” arm of the CIA, for lack of a better description & its goal is to protect US interests abroad at all cost, even at the expense of the people they’re supposed to be helping, even if it means supporting/encouraging a regime change/coup. Look. it. Up.
