The parent plant is doing a lot better now too. It was actually in a pretty sad state when I received it and I was worried it would die, but the grow light has been working wonders. It’s standing nice and tall and growing new leaves as well! Plants update over.

On the other hand, my spider plants are doing really well. The pups I potted in leca are growing lots of new leaves and the roots look good. I added some fertilizer to the reservoir for the first time today so hoping it likes that!

Plants update: my echeveria is struggling hard. I thought I was giving it too much light due to some brown spots forming, but after reducing its light it’s only gotten worse so now I’m thinking I watered it too soon. It’s sitting under a grow light all day now so hoping it recovers!

One of my favourite things about Umamusume is how the idol music has almost no narrative purpose, yet they go absolutely stupid with the quality of the songs. Easily on par with franchises completely built around the idol concept.

It’s my first time propagating and I was a little worried the little guy wouldn’t make it since the parent wasn’t too healthy, but when I checked this morning there was a little white part that wasn’t there before. It looks like it might be okay after all.

With generative AI reaching nearly indistinguishable levels, I'm very appreciative of artists that document their process. I've been thinking of how I could do the same with my own work. It's certainly more effort, but transparency will continue to become more and more valuable.

This song has been on loop for me ever since I finished watching Made in the Abyss. The strings and vocals are so pretty. If I focus on it too much the emotions start to well up so I have to distract myself a little while I listen to it.
