Here's a snippet of the code + setup, ofc it could be done better but literally a 10min job. Attach "Input_event" to the Area3D and add extra call for button index.
Buttons could also be saved as scenes, animated in/out when "clicked".
Screen could also listen for keyboard input 0-9

Always wondered how to do a 3D keypad that supports manually entering the code.
So messing around in #godot and managed to get this basic version configured - buttons can have different values assigned (the 5 is a 4) but this could be expanded so much more
