Meet the tutor, Nancy Roberts! Nancy has worked in publishing for over 25 years in a variety of production and operations roles, including running global operations for the Academic business at Cambridge University Press. She is now a consultant and COO at Maverick Publishing Consultants, providing specialist consultancy to scholarly publishers, societies and associations, and also works freelance as a trainer. She has a PhD in Postcolonial Feminist Literary Theory and Executive MBA from Cranfield University.

His previous roles have included Head of Content, Brand and Press at Digital Science and Executive Publisher at Emerald, where he had direct experience in journal acquisitions, open access and business development. Simon has also been a Co-opted Trustee of COPE, has published in academic journals on the topics of bibliometrics and knowledge transfer and is the author of ‘The Predator Effect’.
