Major hot take, but as someone who was part of tumblr in high school and then a few years after, I do not trust any take that involves any tag resembling “[topic] critical”, in the sense that a lot of takes I’ve seen from tags like that from over the years have a level of anger in them.

My take on recent stuff with PirateSoftware is that I have been antsy on him ever since I saw a short of him where he was on the side of the debate that was saying that minecraft modders could do updates faster than mojang with no nuance. Never trusted him since and especially not now.

I think I have certain takes which if I were a youtuber, I would not feel making a whole video would suffice stating them (neither would a short but that’s more a dislike of shorts in general). Ultimately, I will always appreciate opinions that are concise and to the point, rather than an hour long

Considering how I feel with the game awards, last night on realizing it ended I went through the recording just to listen to the orchestra for the game of the year nominations to hear them play Balatro, followed by seeing who won. Astro Bot probably won because it’s pretty good as the only PS5 game

Not art related, but recently one of my last tweets I made in november against local rage baiter _Gerg somehow made it into one of his videos, and cause of it I now feel a tremendous sense of what can only be called dignity, as right after he does a skit in public and people visually look at him-
