Around Albany, yesterday. The sky opened up just as I arrived to this location and let me do my trichromatic series of exposures just before the light was gone.
This was after a long day of walking around downtown. There is no substitute to walking around with a camera, preferably on a tripod.

Exploring more hydroelectric plants (and pipes) for a potential new series of photos. Was surprised to see that this pipe is made of wood, see close up photo for various water leaks. A really lovely spot and an exciting direction for me. #photography #longexposure #trichromatic #hydroelectric #dam

Lately I've been in love with pipes and tubes. From our own bodily veins carrying precious blood around to industrial-size pipes.
Last week I stopped by the village of Wappingers Falls and discovered this wonderful pipe snaking through and bringing water down to their hydroelectric plant.
