No amount of begging racists and xenophobes to love him will make them love Starmer. All he is doing is making both sides of the political spectrum despise him even more. Nobody likes a flip-flopper who has no firm beliefs or principles.

Even the centrist dads are looking uneasy.

2012-2019: there were 335,000 excess deaths (48,000 a yr) in England, Scotland & Wales due to poverty & austerity.

Over one-third of the deaths were under the age of 65 years i.e. majority were senior citizens.

Austerity kills but govts remain addicted.

No govt Bill ever explains the human cost.
Pensioner poverty in the world’s sixth largest economy is a political choice
The hardship inflicted on retirees now will surely visit future retirees unless steps are taken to alleviate misery.

Where does means-testing end?

Access to healthcare, GPs/Dentists
Primary/Secondary education
Extent of fines for anti-social practices
Right to vote
Train/Bus Fares

Means-testing is costly, always discriminates at the margin. It destroys sense of equity, equality. I support universality of rights.

Keir Starmer has no register with which to respond to Elon Musk because he’s spent years sucking up to the “billionaire class”. He could instead have reframed public demands for sovereignty and more control over our lives as being a symptom of economic failure, unaccountable power and inequality

Labour's entire electoral offer was based on the promise of "growth."
It was always clear they had no idea how to achieve this, but now they're even admitting it.

This from Robert Peston. Labour fans please note he's not a member of Reform and you need to do better with your replies than "..but Boris Johnson". Clowns defending a bunch of genocide loving liars
And for the slow kids I hate Labour and I'm left wing. You can hate Labour and not be Tory or Reform

The US went from “Israel is committed to international law” to “international law does not apply to Israel or any of us for that matter” in less than a year.

This is how hyper-normalisation works.

Whether it's Labour or the Tories in power at Westminster, inequality just goes up. Whilst the rest of Europe had done lots more to tackle it.
