It's a maths question. Its about probability. Stop trying to actually think about it
Could an infinite number of monkeys, each given an infinite amount of time to peck away at a typewriter eventually produce the complete works of William Shakespeare? Not in this universe, a new study concludes.

The Digital Hub,Thomas Street for today's market. Come say hi and have a look!

Come to The Digital Hub in Thomas Street tomorrow (10-4) for the monthly market (I'll be there selling vintage clothing) if you want a genuinely cool market of locals selling interesting things. The Christmas one in Smithfield was pretty rubbish
Everyone should read these stories from Bahay's Alex about the Christmas market in Smithfield. Cc @dublincitycouncil.bsky.social

Below: A quick example of why joined up thinking is needed when designing and installing public realm features, vs what we should be doing. If you're in the Dublin City area and know of areas that flood regularly due to rain, take a picture and let me know!

I'm all for this as long as it's to the death
The Colosseum, in partnership with Airbnb, plans to give a select few people the chance to learn the art of gladiator fighting at the ancient arena. The “immersive experience” has caused an uproar among many Romans who say it demeans the cultural treasure.

Drainage is seen as an afterthought in most building projects in Ireland. It needs to be as important as the height/scale/use of the building or else scenes like this will only become more and more prevalent

Ireland is woefully unprepared for extreme weather and yet our politicians are doing nothing substantial or meaningful to address the Climate Emergency

Now that I'm not training for a marathon, I can get back to doing more cultural things, like looking at an art gallery and saying I should really go in some day but never go

Personal in-home interviewing surely skews the numbers, I doubt they're asking any people in apartments, so it's either young homeowners with great jobs/help from parents, or young people living at home.
Also young people really have to get out and vote if they want anything to change.

Daruma, Parliament Street, Temple Bar. This place is super tasty, the chicken especially was worth going for. Very nice people running it too. Hadn't gone before, would go back

Masa, Drury Street. About €7 for 2 tacos, €13 for a classic margarita. Verrrry tasty. I haven't had many tacos that I really enjoyed, these were flavourful. Pork belly, al pastor, and chorizo
