Joining this app from Twixter is kinda like getting a new phone & finding out your fave solitaire game doesn't carry progress over to a new device, so you have to start from scratch. I don't think it's the unmitigated clusterfuck people made it out to be. Yes, the script's a bit wanky, Dakota Johnson is phoning it in with the most wooden performance, but it's not unenjoyable. I've seen worse. Much worse.

Finally gotten around to watching #MadamWebb, now it's on #Netflix
I don't think it's the unmitigated clusterfuck people made it out to be. Yes, the script's a bit wanky, Dakota Johnson is phoning it in with the most wooden performance, but it's not unenjoyable. I've seen worse. Much worse.

Near Dark was a case of rose tinted nostalgia goggles. It has not aged well. Henriksen, Goldstein and Paxton give great performances, but the story's thin, the protagonist is not that sympathetic. It feels as low budget as it obviously is, is actually quite boring and fails to hold the attention.

Near Dark was a case of rose tinted nostalgia goggles. It has not aged well. Henriksen, Goldstein and Paxton give great performances, but the story's thin, the protagonist is not that sympathetic. It feels as low budget as it obviously is, is actually quite boring and fails to hold the attention.

As somebody who reached their teens by 1990, and 20s by 1997, all forms of house and dance music. Electro, trance, triphop, drum'n'base, acid, all of it was just a nothing to me. Certified rockerboy, me. Dance was the enemy.

For me - an elder millennial - it is that I have never knowingly listened to INCUBUS, nor could I name even one of their songs if you put a gun to my head.

Been watching the #AnneRice TV series. #InterviewWithTheVampire is frankly excellent. #TheMayfairWitches is . . . not. There are flashback scenes to 16th/17th century Scotland, but I think that not one of the actors has ever heard a Scottish accent in their lives.

One thought, after watching #Superman. Give #Batfleck another chance. Ben Afleck's Bruce Wayne/Batman would work far better in James Gunn's #DCU than he ever did in the #Snyderverse.

Just watched James Gunn's #Superman for the first time. And, for the first time since 2008 a #DC movie has blown #Marvel out of the water. That has to have been the most fun I've had with a superhero movie since #ThorRagnarok. Gunn's set a high, high bar for the revamped #DCU
