Anyone else been getting scammy peer-review requests?
I've just gotten asked to review a paper on a subject that is just outside of my area of expertise from a suspicious-looking email address. I obv won't do it, as I don't believe in free labour anyway.
But what's the endgame here exactly?

Pareço normal, mas esse é exatamente o tipo de pensamento que determina 98% das escolhas que eu faço na vida. (Esse inclusive real oficial já fazia parte das minhas escolhas indumentárias há anos.)
Pareço normal mas so viajo com roupa de tecido 100% natural pq num acidente o tecido sintético derrete e se funde à pele, o natural não.
Muita gente que sobrevive ao acidente em si acaba morrendo por isso.
E 100% é 100% mesmo, aqueles 2% de elastano que tem em umas calças jeans ja fazem isso.

Judging by y'all's Bsky behavior today, I'm assuming soon a physician will share a ~groundbreaking solution to Thomson's violinist problem in which the violinist promptly gets a kidney transplant & the other person instantly walks free. And it'll get hundreds, if not thousands, of likes and shares 🤷♀️

Terminei o livro e, agora, ao que me parece, essas frases fora do eixo eram propositais. A que propósito elas servem eu continuo sem saber. Falta muito editor competente nesse país.
Seria bem legal se as grandes editoras no Brasil tivessem editores de verdade, para que esse tipo de frase (essa aberração, na vdd) não fosse publicada com tanta frequência:
