It’s disturbing to me that conservative commenters believe that impeding traffic or causing property damage is “violence,” but running people over or shooting them for the above is deserved.

Apparently slowing people down and property damage are bigger threats than death.

I made my first post on my writing profile, and on my blog. I hope you'll come read more about the world of The Grace of a Warm Sunrise, and the Bikaat who inhabit it. The first post is about Bikaat biology, which forms a basis for Bikaat culture, and then about the greater world.
I'm starting to write world building articles where I'll discuss some components of the worlds I'm working on. I'm avoiding Armor spoilers right now, but am excited to share the world of Grace / the Bikaat with you.

One of the biggest differences between liberal and conservative voters:

“This policy might help 10,000 people, though 1 person may abuse it. We should adopt it.”

Vs

“This policy might be abused by 1 in 10,000 people. We should eliminate it.”

I’m trying something new. Instead of setting myself a large writing goal every night and failing to meet it, I’m going to try a small goal each night and make sure I hit it. Even just 250-500 words every night is a step in the right direction. 1-2 pages double spaced. That should be doable.

Sometimes I want to create but can’t write, so I draw. I’m slow, and honestly not great at it, but I am still pretty happy with how this turned out. This is part of a “cover image” concept for one of my writing projects.

The best way to prove that you are weak is with a show of force. It’s why NKorea has the military parades that they do. They need to project strength because their actual strength is limited. There are people that are so used to needing to project synthetic power because they lack any. Even leaders

We all knew that the tariffs were going to hurt small businesses more than large ones, but I hadn’t really thought how much impact it works have on crowdfunding projects. Everyone with a CF project in progress is pretty much screwed….

The reason Republican lawmakers and presidents of the past break all of their promises about immigration and “entitlements” is because they know that these things are actually necessary and healthy. Without them, our people suffer. This guy is just a fool.

The FBI overstepping, like law enforcement always does. Find people who commit crimes - great. Do it legally.

It’s been true for a while now, but republicans cannot call themselves the “party of law and order.” With every egregious breach of law, and with every lawmaker who excuses, ignores, or assents to this lawlessness, they become the party of criminality. Of lawlessness.

Reminder, folks. If you’re driving in the rain - slow down. Especially if you’re driving a truck or an SUV. Heavy, top-heavy vehicles with light tails don’t do well. 4/4 over 17 today.

There’s a lot of bs on this whole thing, but I’ll pause on the part that affects every child for just a moment.

Adding “unifying, inspiring, and ennobling” to the list means it will not be accurate, nor honest. People aren’t perfect, and we need to know about their flaws as well as their merits.

I’ve seen a few folks now advocating for a “shutdown” on March 16th. That’s not going to matter. A single day of inactivity is a drop in the bucket. Especially since the day before and the day after will just end up with greater purchasing, essentially equalizing things.

Nothing he does is because he thinks it’s right. Nothing he does is out of moral obligation. Nothing he does is because it’s lawful. Nothing he does is for you.

Everything is either for money, or for to get the attention of someone he wants to impress. He’s the most easily manipulable man on earth.

The party of “States Rights” is trying to say that disaster relief aid money should only go to a state that adopts their desired national policy. The hypocrisy.

The most ridiculous headlines are not satire:

CEO of AI Music Company Says People Don't Like Making Music

If people didn't like making music, they wouldn't be making it. People *love* creating. People who actually do the work to create get more joy from it than people who type a prompt.
