History shows that societies that foster trade, communication, and shared myths (like money or laws) almost always outlast isolated or purely combative ones.

I told my kids that if they don’t stop fighting, Santa is going to bring them "Educational Woodworking Kits" instead of a PS5. I’ve never seen two human beings become more polite so quickly. It’s a Christmas miracle fueled by pure, unadulterated terror.
