I’m marking my first Bluesky ‘post’ with a Singlehood Studies starter pack. There are only a few of us at present, but I’m hoping this will expand! If you would like to be added, or indeed removed, please let me know. 🩷

As the number of single people continues to steadily incline, why is there such a reluctance to make non-coupled living a viable and affordable option? I’ll be unpacking this in my forthcoming work, but was pleased to see this issue highlighted in The Guardian!

We were joined by a very special guest in Intimate Relationships & Personal Life today. @aliciadenby.bsky.social brought her dog Bear to deliver a lecture on Pets and Personal Life with @jennyvanhooff.com.

Bear was thrilled to make lots of new friends (as we can see by his wagging tail!) 🐶🩷
