Devouring Rachel Harrison’s ‘So Thirsty’ at the moment, hot on the heels of ‘Cackle’, which I loved. ST is a great take on the vampire mythology. Recommended.

Just finished The Unkillable Frank Lightening by Josh Rountree. What a wonderful trip back to the (more recent) Old West. Horror/Western mash up, very well written with great characters, some nasty, some lost. 4.5*

Just finished Chris Pavone’s ‘The Doorman’. Lovely read, warm characters plus some cold baddies. Set in NYC, very relatable political & social commentary. 4*

I watched that staff meeting where the CEO took naps and was struggling to understand the sycophantic nature of his underlings. The blatant falsehoods and positing fantasy as fact. These are genuinely unserious people in positions of great power with little grasp on reality. Not leaders.

Wonderful news from Gaza and hopefully the war / incursion is over. But, I fear there is a different agenda at play between T & N, which does not include the welfare of the Palestinian people.

Our new production opened last night. ‘Hear Me’. Four boys. Four stories. One truth. Meet four teenage boys—ordinary, funny, flawed, alive. This is a play about growing up. About wanting to be seen. Wanting to be heard. And sometimes… wanting to disappear.

@jconnollybooks.bsky.social half way through Children of Eve - loving it so far, especially the Jennifer/Sam scenes. It is truly the one series I have followed/read since Every Dead Thing. And it never disappoints!

Listening to this whilst making dinner. Haven’t heard it in 30 years, it’s still excellent!! Very influential I’d say, as I can hear strains of more modern music compositions throughout.
