I'd forgotten that I'd even made this page, but Google is telling me that interest in it is up 225% this week. That's a niche New Year's resolution! ;-) #TeamCompSci

I finished reading a book last night and started reading another. The problem is context switching. I need to switch my thinking from one time and place to another. Some nights it just makes sense to wait until the next day to start the new book.

Anyone else or just me?

IF we could buy Trump for what he's really worth and sell him for what he thinks he's worth we could pay off the national debt.

Yesterday was both the shortest day of the year and the longest night of the year. Which do you think of it as? Short day or long night? I tend to think of it as the shortest day of the year.

Regardless, I look forward to seeing longer days ahead.

Time for another review of the REAL #TrumpInflationCrisis. I compared prices on Biden's last day in office versus 12/9/25 prices under Trump's ecomonic "genius". My standard Kroger "cart" is up 10%+. These items are jacked up the most, often accompanied by shrinkflation. Are we winning yet?

More and more, I am incredibly suspect of anyone talking about tech in education who isn't arguing for a caution, middle path.

For me, the tech is still best used to help kids create, research, network and problem-solve. But kids and teachers have to do the hard thinking, not the tech.
