Deeply. As a professional photographer, the ethical and moral foundation onto which I lay everything I do with the camera: it's very important to me. And I've zero tolerance for people who have no ethics or morals.

It was exhausted.

Moral of the story is “get some morals”. Not sure, from reading the piece, whether a longer lens would have solved this. She just seems like a horrible, selfish person.

Respect, ethics, morals: these are important as a photographer. For our fellow humans, for the environment and for the wildlife we share this planet with.

Don't be like the woman described in this article.

Don't be a cunt. Especially not just for Instagram likes.

Thought it was earlier. Normally they’re done by 5pm.

Construction site next to our place, still working at 11.30pm. Nah. Sorry, that’s bollocks. So I went next door and politely lost my shit on the foreman.,You work here every day. Cool. We all need work, yeah. But I’m into year three of the noise next door and 11.30pm? WTF? Well they’ve stopped now.

Good morning. Chilly but bright here in Tokyo this morning. Been up doing some design work and about to have an online meeting with a client, about a new book design for them. Busy day ahead, ending with a meeting out in the city.

Whatever you're up to, have a great day.

The LUMIX Lab app has a bunch of LUTs available for download - even if you don't use a Lumix camera.

You can easily export them out of the app, and use them with other camera apps like !Boring Camera, @halideapp.bsky.social Kino, and others.

Thanks Lumix for using an open format!

Especially if he first set it up as an NPO, to get across the “benevolent” angle, then monetised it.

Back in the day, shot with the 6x17 and even 6x24 formats a fair bit. And shoot / visualise a lot now in 65x24.

Yeah, they're not for everything.

One day we'll get together and I'd love to try it.

Apologies if you find it closed. The younger chap running it now took it over from the owner, who passed away a year or so ago. They both ran the shop before. Now he has to fit it in with what else he has going on in life. So he's not there every day. Hours are usually written on a sign on the shop.

What a headline.

Well, mate, Yes. Busy, busy. But it's all good. Beats having a real job. 👍

You might try Crosspoint in my neighbourhood of Ōmori. Five mins walk from the north exit of the station. He's not open every day. But most. Friendly and helpful chap. Mention that I sent you.

Forgot that you have a Widelux. Lovely shot, mate. One camera I've never used and would love to.

The IOC has no moral compass at all. So, dreadful as this is, it's deeply unsurprising.
February 11, 2026 at 11:34 PM
And beyond corruption. Go and look up “The Anthropology Days” of the 1904 St.Louis Olympics. Vile.
February 11, 2026 at 11:07 PM
The IOC has been a farce since its beginning, though.

Ha. Yeah. It’s still damn cold but at -22C, my cameras were starting to act up. Not just reduced battery life, either. And after getting out of this dry suit, I was drenched in sweat.
