If you’re in the eastern half of the country, it’s highly likely that you’ll be turning on that heat in the coming days. The 1st big temp drop of the season is set to move in over the weekend into early next week. Bundle up with the @weather.bsky.social for the details!

Hurricane #Melissa is still a threat! Going through today, things will start to improve in Eastern Cuba but go downhill in the Central/SE portions of the #Bahamas & the #TurksandCaicos!

The Tropic are alive! TS Humberto is expected to strengthen into a Hurricane but right now is forecast to stay away from US. Invest 94L has the best chance to make it to the US. Everyone from FL to the Carolinas should keep an eye on it. Stick with @weather.bsky.social for updates!

Hurricane #Erin has definitely tried to get its act together! Dry air & shear were an obstacle yesterday (top pic). A little better organized today (bottom pic). We’ll see if we get an uptick in the wind speeds! Regardless, coastal dangers remain the same. #DontGetInWater
