Common Power is endorsing @wilsonforseattle for Mayor because she represents exactly what this moment calls for: fearless action, the ability to turn out young voters, and a platform focused on affordability.

We’ll be sharing more about opportunities to take action with us 🤜

Seattle has its own Zohran v Cuomo mayoral race going on: A young charismatic upstart who actually wants to make the city cooler vs an establishment dinosaur who once pulled a gun on a pregnant woman in a road rage incident.

At a press conference at City Hall this morning, the Working Families Party and PROTEC17—the largest union of City of Seattle workers—endorsed Katie Wilson for mayor. The city union's endorsement is especially monumental because for most of these workers, incumbent Bruce Harrell is their boss.

I love my city, my neighbors, & every moment I get to be at the ballpark.

Whether you grew up here like me, or see Seattle as your best chance to live safely & happily, you deserve an affordable home you're proud of. I loved talking about home & Cal Raleigh homers w/ @wilsonforseattle.bsky.social

Only thing better than a 3-0 lead is a 6-0 win!

Had a fantastic time talking with @wilsonforseattle.bsky.social about the Mariners, what makes us proud about Seattle, and how she intends to build a more affordable city for more folks and families to enjoy.
Having a great time watching the 4th of July game this afternoon with Seattle baseball writer @johntrupin.bsky.social

We’re up 3-0. Go Mariners! #ThisIsYourCity

Sneak peek!

It was wonderful to have teriyaki with local celebrity chef and food writer @kenjilopezalt.bsky.social to talk restaurants, affordability, & the state of the city. There’s no food more Seattle than teriyaki, and Kenji’s on a mission to visit every shop in the city.

Video soon!

Katie Wilson 36%, Bruce Harrell 33%: NPI’s May 2025 Civic Heartbeat poll finds statistical tie in Seattle mayoral race
Eight candidates filed for Mayor of Seattle during Filing Week 2025. Of the field, only incumbent Bruce Harrell and challenger Katie Wilson of the Transit Riders Union have raised six-figure sums for their campaigns so far. NPI and its pollster simulated a hypothetical general election matchup between the two and found Wilson at 36%, Harrell at 33%, and 30% not sure.

Big business is eroding the very essence of our community.

Corporations have turned to abusing the levers of power, for personal gain.

Disentangling and asking them to pay their fair share is the way forward.
