I love Congestion Pricing and no I am not rich.

I take public transit more often and when I need a boost pay an extra $9 to get there in time.

People that live and work in France.

When you work with Americans.

Is it much pleasurable or do you hate the politeness?

Say what you want to say about Deepseek, O1, Etc....but Claude is still the best one at coding (at least until 20 minutes ago)

there's AI, machine learning, is going to replace all of our jobs...

BUT since I moved to NJ only 1/4 of all doctors are on zocdoc

Hugely inefficient.

In the same vein. We can send people to the moon....

But good luck getting good wifi on a plane.

Showing up is great to begin with.

But at some point you have to move to quality and have at least a portion of jour creation be meaningful

May 2025 be the year we all agree with the above vs just creating noise

It’s there really social media anymore or are we all just building an audience?

Yesterday I made a decision without any context other than “it didn’t feel fun”

We are all adults but whenever there’s a choice and something feel neutral vs good.

I am choosing to walk away

“It didn’t feel fun” is enough

Developer or technical marketing = Google Ads + Reddit + YouTube + Twitter. Do we add Bluesky to the list?

My daughter said:
“It’s like the whole world is a car wash”

And baby that made so much sense

ChatGPT pro makes a lot of sense with Sora included and if video is part of your workflow.

I am excited by great B rolls here.

If you are a stock b roll/sound company you just went out of business :-/
SORA: As someone who works a lot with visuals, $200/month suddenly does not sound like a lot for a leading-edge AI video generation tool like Sora.

That's equivalent to 1% of a daily budget on a moderately big shoot.

Today I asked all my clients to state their goals for 2025 and their big bets to get them

I am always amazed that you can get to even $5M ARR without goals. But no matter what eventually you get stuck

One of the interesting things about Google is that as of today their main customer facing product (Gemini) is severely far behind OpenAI and Claude and by default Copilot

They have much stronger models that you can access through Google Cloud but there's friction there...probably on purpose
Google faces an innovator’s dilemma as chatbots like ChatGPT disrupt its traditional search model. Sundar believes Google can adapt its search to stay relevant.

He also criticizes Satya Nadella for bragging about their AI capabilities while Microsoft relies on external models. 😬
Sundar Pichai Hits Back at Criticism of Google’s A.I. Leadership (Gift Article)
Google’s chief executive rejected the idea that rivals were set to eat into the company’s dominance in search, despite antitrust fights that could force it to break up.

Just finished my first 36 hour fast!!!

1. Feel less hungry and more judicious food
2. Back pain got better
3. It wasn't that difficult
4. Have more energy

However,

Last 12 hours I was definitely dizzy and experienced a few physical things I haven't come across in quite a while.

While AI is more widely adopted in other countries, critical thinking skills are still needed

I hired a VA from one of the "High usage" countries. I built custom GPTs for most of their tasks.

I paid them what I would pay someone in the US.

And yet, the level of quality wasn't there
While the U.S. leads in AI tech, workers in emerging markets are adopting it faster—are they closing the global digital divide?

After experiencing how the LinkedIn ecosystem got messed up due to professional twitter people arriving en mass, I do think it is ok for growth to take time and for people to enjoy a semi regular algorithm for a bit.
Bluesky’s growth slowed from 2.6 to 1.4 users/sec. That’s still:

• 120K/day
• 846K/week
• 3.7M/month

Growth comes in waves—not a bad thing. It’s a sign of something bigger brewing.

Here’s why that matters and what Bluesky can do next. 🧵

I always think how in Terminator 2, John Connor uses the machines to fight the machines and ultimately how humans + machines combined ultimately (barely) defeat the rogue AI

And that’s why I am learning prompt engineering

Ok right now there’s an opportunity to up-level yourself and get into AI coding. With @bolt.new and cursor and replit you have the equivalent of a mid career engineer working with you
