Did you know that I wrote those? No? Well, many had no idea, either.

I applied for a job in December. Checked a few minutes ago. Still in review.

Democracy might die in darkness, but bureaucracy is indestructible.

I see a lot of people either learning French or wanting to learn it. As luck would have it, I'm looking for another project, in addition to my day job. So, why don't I teach you?

(DM me for more!)

Wrote this. It's a short read, but you get to travel. Wouldn't you like to travel?

Planning a cross-country bike ride, fuelled by poutine/beer. For some reason, when I googled it, the machine suggested that I do the most of my trek on the other side of the border. Yeah, nah.

My neighbours saw a post I wrote online.

Here's how it went.

Neighbours: "When is your two date?"
Me: My what?
N: Your two date.
Me: What's a two date?
N: The day the missus gives birth.

(silence)

M: Ohhhh! The due date!

(homophone wordplay based on the Italian word for two: due)

Published my 4th novel shortly before Christmas. Sales are going. I think they'd be better if I wrote romance or fantasy.

Why do western Canadian conservatives always have a hat on? To keep the hole in their brain from evacuating hot air.

If you want to truly celebrate Valentine’s Day, buy her one of my “hello ladies” paintings. They are sure to spark joy, and whatnot.

Boomers: a few wars/recessions.
Next generations: wars/recessions/pandemics/racism/fascism/bigotry/economic hurdles.

Is the "best generation" aiming to be the "last generation"?

If so, do we have to buy a place on the Moon?

Would it be antisemite of me to say that we're in an era of oy-ligarchy?

It wouldn't, because the oys aren't Semites.

Shoving a baguette in one's anus isn't soothing.
It is after all, a pain in the ass.

Seeing the madness in the world makes this pessimist person whom I want to give up believing in the brotherhood of humanity. It's one of life's numerous fallacies, like humane accountants, livable incomes and non-toxic workplaces. Time to put the guillotine on the steps of Congress.
