Black women are gaining social media prominence by influencing on preparedness, especially for an audience of other Black women. And given the current political climate, this audience has never been bigger or more invested.

In 2024, four women held four-star ranks in the military — the highest levels of the armed forces. Only 10 women have held the highest rank in their military branches in history. Now, there are none.
