I’m coming to the really unfortunate conclusion that some people really went into psychiatry so that they could look down on and wield power over mentally ill and neurodivergent people. It’s not a lot, but it’s definitely some, and they’re disgusting

This time last year I had never successfully grown a plant that didn’t die or get eaten by my cats in its prime. Now I have an entire bouquet of roses that I grew, and many happy plants in my garden 😊

I think the second “virtue signaling” was coined as a term, we should’ve known American society was taking a turn for the worst. 2015. If you think people are inherently faking empathy towards an issue that doesn’t directly affect them, it’s an indictment of your own character.

I can’t deal with Florida anymore, despite my best efforts, but I really will miss St. Pete and I am glad I got to grow up here. I still think it’s a really cool place.

I understand that a lot of folks have been misled by fear-mongering and powerful regressive voices but it’s still astonishing to me that so many have fallen for the idea that oppressively policing other people’s gender identity and expression could in any way be part of an enlightened future.

It is incredibly sad when we cannot even trust the CDC or the HHS for reliable information anymore. It’s not even just a misrepresentation of science, it’s a perversion of logic- burden of proof is on the person claiming there IS a link between vaccines and autism.
