I've been a bit behind on #AEW again but I'm just catching up on Collision now and I can't tell you how happy it made me, that after Andrade took his pants off... The crowd started chanting "this is awesome" 🤣🤣🤣

The fact he "announced his retirement" almost made me cringe myself into an origami swan but this is.... Agonising.
If I ever do something massively embarrassing and cringe like what Brock Lesnar Guy did here to announce he's no longer going to shows, you're entitled to send me to the old folks home and tell me you're gonna visit every week but don't. 🤼

I haven't been on here much in recent months as, since around August, I've been battling an AEW backlog that I've struggled to catch up to and I was doing my best to avoid spoilers. As of today I am officially caught up and can't wait to start interacting with you lovely people again!

Don't get me wrong: I think Andrade is a great wrestler. He's capable of putting on incredible matches.
In his entire last run though, he never fully got over. Rush was brought in to work alongside him and immediately got over, but Andrade still didn't.
Rumours of attitude issues too.

Gail Kim is so important to me. She helped define what I expected from female wrestlers and wrestling. I was in awe of her ability and belief in her value as a performer.
She is dead fucking wrong about Riho and she's handling this so incredibly poorly.
