Grumpy old man talking about politics, football (the one that’s actually played with your feet) and F1.

Twitter exiled.

MUFCRedDevilsMX in the shite app 🙄
I really don’t understand why or how this account has followed me 3 times in 2025. Is he fishing for a follow back? 🤔

Once they pass the resolution, FOTUS will say that since there’s an open investigation into Epstein, they can’t release the files.

This shit has “Lucy and the football” written all over it 🤷🏼‍♂️
After previously casting the deciding “no” vote, Sen. Lisa Murkowski — who has deep ties to Ghislaine Maxwell’s husband and shared a conference stage with Maxwell — now says she’ll vote to release the Epstein files.

Chris Murphy: "He wouldn't be going through all of this effort to try to stop the release of these files if he wasn't seriously implicated in those files. This is most likely the biggest corruption scandal in the history of the country. We know that b/c Trump is going to these extraordinary lengths"

Even though English is not my first language I can read that Tom is explaining why the USA (America is the whole continent, guys) isn’t *fascist right now*.

As he explained, no matter how despicable and dumb FOTUS and his goons are, they aren’t smart enough to get there 🤷🏼‍♂️
My mistake has been trying to explain what "fascism" is to people who don't care what it is.

So I'm going to try something else. Let's do this as a practical thought exercise.

If America *were* fascist *today* - what would you have to do differently in your daily life? /1

Amazing how racist goon squads can wake people up to danger, but it's unfortunate that everyone had to touch the hot stove to find out it was hot
In the recent New Jersey governor’s race, the Democratic Party clawed back much of the ground it had lost with Hispanic voters in the 2024 presidential race, according to a township-level analysis of results by The New York Times. See the maps.
Maps Show How Latinos Who Shifted Right in 2024 Snapped Back Left in 2025
The New Jersey governor’s race was the first significant sign that President Trump’s success with Hispanic voters in 2024 may have been only a temporary shift.

But electing the accomplished, educated and intelligent black prosecutor was out of the question because she was VP to an elderly but honest white guy, right?

I just watched this episode. Great job as usual from everyone.

As a side note unrelated to the content: How do you realize a girl is cute? When even without makeup she has her original eyebrows 😉
A special treat today as I’ll interview MSNBC and soon to be MSNOW anchor @stephruhle.bsky.social Plus @davearonberg.bsky.social on the latest in Epstein-gate. See you soon at 4p ET/1p PT on Substack and later on YouTube.

You'll ignore this, but every time you tweet angrily about crap like that Nuzzi piece you're confirming NYT editors' intuitions/incentivizing more of it. The entire intellectual/journo model here is, "Does this person get people angry? Yes? OK they're provocative/get talked about. Write about her."

I guess FOTUS would prefer that everyone were still talking about the shutdown instead of the #EpsteinFiles but here we are 🤷🏼‍♂️🤣

I don’t hate Mary Earps (I love Phallon though) but it will be funny if #MUFCW advances to the knockout stage and PSGW doesn’t 🤭

Olga Carmona’s stunning strike on the brink of half-time draws Paris Saint-Germain level at Old Trafford.

Melvine Malard had put Manchester United ahead just after the half-hour mark, curling her effort past the returning Mary Earps.

The last time I watched a president booed so loudly by his own people was during the 1986 FIFA WC Final between Germany and Argentina when then Mexican president Miguel De La Madrid was in the Azteca stadium.
