& if I wail, will you catch my breath?
Cup it; twist the copper top, mason jar,
silent firefly—strobing S.O.S
Can you hear me yet?
& what if I’m not a lonely star?
The night’s a crocheted blanket.
I’m the light—
so don’t stitch the sky

Transport me to a time
that was before it was.
Wrap me in sheets of gold
like the morning's breath
fogs the sun outside my window
Take me to Paris
kiss me under the Eiffel Tower
take my hand at the traffic light.
Conveyor-belt clouds smile at our loop—
Red means more.

We are older than this night— than the pulse of time In another life we are constellations unravelling over water
History glimmers on our tongues— molten amber U dissolve inside me & I open— to remember how creation first tasted when darkness touched the light.

Ur touch sculpts my hips—
shadowed valleys
awaiting ur light
My fingers trace ur body
nomads seek oases
where ur pulse beats
We are cartographers
in tangled sheets
redrawing lines
of colliding worlds—
no compass but the heat
skin on skin
exploring
the uncharted us

The rain creeps in
soft
an afterthought
weaving silver thru wind
It pools where our steps faded
small mirrors
trembling in gravel
Each drop
a hush
sky’s quiet collapse—
tiny hearts folding
inward
You tilt ur head
& I hear love—
a pulse
against water
stumbling
then finding rhythm

Ur voice breaks—
dawn heliacal a light wound
marring sleep
My bones hum
stars dim in marrow-dark
Ur breath voids me
a frost flute
sings my undoing
thru the orchard of my ribs
I taste ur color— salt, mint, holy
The sky strips raw I ache
for the blade
of ur touch

Light falters— a hush between dusk and dark Always
the same silence honey-thick heavy with knowing
I feel his touch before the air stirs his whisper threading through the sigh on my collarbone
Terror blooms in— a kiss left too long
& still I call him mine
#vss365 #poetry
Terror on the wind
pumpkins gather—
backlit eyes
grins flit
left to right
Read the braille
on ur skin
words God left behind—
feeling blind
It’s but a moment—
Lost lambs forget
the shepherd’s face
from time to time
Night howls
owls echo
Who am I?
In the dark
answers hide.

Painted lady
patterns flutter
I shake the colors
Bone-bleached sky
now white to black
beg for water
Cities shatter below
shadows dawn shapes
sharp as Martian winds
Rusted cheeks
Your hand
my knife
Scars oxidize
Deliverance
under risen moon
It dares not name us

It read:
A Tabby, Mr. Biggles, gives side-eye
over milk saucer
blowing bubbles in 2%
tail swishing to show
he’s unimpressed
& YOU should be
He allows belly scratches post-meal—
THAT’s him
Spotless white mittens
despite hrs of biscuit-making
Reward (his choice)

It’s the crisp mist’s whisper,
the winter mornings breathe.
It’s the first slices of sun,
spilling gold into your marrow.
It’s the butterfly flutters,
nibbling at your fingertips.
It’s the sky of the worlds,
echoing from afar.
Are the #android ‘s eyes wide shut?
