Completed my shot list for DEEP FAKE written by @actorjoshprice.bsky.social this week and today I completed the storyboard for the opening scene which has the most shots. The story is constantly revealing new ways to visually bring it to life.

I’m still unrepped as a writer/director. Here’s a sample of my work.

If there are any reps that have 12 mins to spare, connect with this short, and want to learn more about me, feel free to hit me up.

Likewise - if anyone wants to share it with theirs, I’d be super grateful.

A few weeks ago I reached out to the director of a show I worked on late last year. I wanted to thank her for bringing me on board, and making me feel so welcomed and valued on set.

Anyway - I just got a lovely reply from her and it’s going to fuel me for the rest of the year.

It’s always such a pleasure working with Matt Kallish.

I don’t know how he does it, but he always make me look like this.

Now let’s bring on 2025. Sign me up and get me in your projects.

It's been just over a month since I took the plunge and launched 714 online.

I have so much gratitude to those of you that have watched it, reposted it, or reached out to me to tell me how it has resonated with you.

Find your people, make your thing, share it with the world.❤️

Hi @realgdt.bsky.social - I’d love to share my short film with you, if you have 12 mins to spare.

It’s called 714 and is a drama/sci-fi that’s an abstract reflection of living with depression. Your ability to find the extraordinary in the most intimate of things has always inspired me. Enjoy!. 🙏🏽❤️

Casting non-actors can always bring an element of risk, but to my mom's credit, she put in the work and delivered the gravitas, and spiritual depth that befitted the role.

However, the greatest gift was to bring her into my world and share this stage with her. I’ll treasure this moment forever.

This is some raw footage of two shots we wanted to use before the climax to illustrate Noah's journey into the unknown. Sadly, I had to cut them due to pacing, but please enjoy this beautiful work by our DP, Ray Huang, overlayed with @mattwmusic haunting score.

Feeling this quote from @stephenking.bsky.social today -

“Writing is not life, but I think that sometimes it can be a way back to life.”
I started writing again today. First time in a long time. Just finished a rough outline on my WIP.

I spent a lot of last year, self medicating to numb my feelings which stifled my creativity. Stopped this month and as scary as it’s been, I found my true outlet in writing again.

Currently watching YouTube videos on how to fill out facial hair in photoshop. My agent wants me to look a little less patchy in a couple of my headshots.

Seems simple enough. Hopefully I can do it. 🤣🧔🏻‍♂️

I love movies so much. I want to watch them. I want to be in them. I want to make.

Taking this energy with me into the week. Throw it into everything you create too.

This film also inspired a sense of hope. Obviously the 60s were such a charged time socially and politically, and as we enter a period of increased division, I’m reminded and hopeful that people will awaken and find resistance and protest, and that art can be such a powerful conduit for that.
Tonights film. Stellar performances across the board. I loved hearing James Mangold speak about the need for more films that wear their heart on their sleeves. This delivered that. Something I aspire to in my own work. Put your feelings on the line and let your audience feel it too. Loved it.
