as people often do, I too occasionally think about James Bond. This latest bout is lasting a couple of weeks now and I think one of the worst things future installments can do - is to remake or soft-remake one of the older movies or even worse - make it go back in the past, 60s. 70s.

nothing kinda works, young Stephen Lang plays a horrible villain and Woods-Fox duo has no chemistry. Not the worst but a solid-bad buddy cop movie, action scenes are just a wet fart, script not being far from it as well. Completely avoidable as a movie.

I'm glad Stuckman made a movie, I hope he makes many more. But this is pretty visionless, he threw everything in it - ghosts, wolfmen, folk horror, found footage, curses, hellhounds, serial killers, spooky places, etc, instead focusing on a thing or two and making sure those work.

It took almost 6 years for season 3 of One Punch Man to manifest itself into existence and this is just embarrassing, each episode is worse than the previous one. If season one was 10/10, then this is like barely 2/10. Fucking unbelievable.

been rewatching Stranger Things and the plot structure is this - few characters find something out, then 5 episodes waiting for all of them to get together and debrief, then episode or two where they don't know how to resolve the problem, then one episode where they generically resolve it.

it's wild to remember that some of the biggest games and genres today - like Fortnite, PUBG, extraction shooters like Tarkov, etc, are rooted in a shitty disfunctional buggy mod for ARMA -> DayZ mod and subsequent "full" game that burned out very quickly.
