I am not enjoying the Crust playlist. Some of the music sounds like what I understand crust to be but a lot of it sounds like…melodic death metal? My least favorite form of Death metal.

In any case she’s not mad at me which is great as she is a supporting character in the book.

Also, because she has several times demonstrated her unwillingness to contradict me, I have no idea if she genuinely thinks my novel publishable or is simply acquiescing to my desire to pursue publication. But maybe you don’t get to ask your therapist if your novel is publishable.

I asked her what she thought and SHE asked me what I thought about having sent her the whole novel, so now I’m talking about how much I like my novel. Not exactly a notes session.

My therapist finished my novel! She actually read all six hundred eighty something pages and I can’t say I’m surprised but she’s being way more of a therapist than a “reader.” She doesn’t say “this chapter is good.” She says “there’s so much here.”
