European Space Agency, not unlike SpaceX and their ilk, revels in its ability to pollute the night sky at an ever increasing pace.

Good on ya, ESA. Amazing accomplishment.
Today's launch of the first four-booster version of Ariane 6, operated by Arianespace, took 32 satellites for Amazon LEO to low-Earth orbit. This success confirms Europe’s readiness in heavy-lift capability and is key to ensuring autonomous access to space for Europeans.
More boosters, more power: Ariane 6 lifts off with four boosters for the first time

Last night, I replaced the rubber seal on my washing machine.

I've never had a greater superiority complex.

I think using the term "stay in your lane" is an offense punishable by death. At the very least, a severe bitch-slapping.

I had this idea for a social network where you were only allowed to join if someone vouched for you, and that person vouching would be punished along with the new member if they did something untoward. Punishment would happen only if they couldn't get the "friend" to improve their behavior.

Politics is full of well-meaning imbeciles.

It's important for us voters to include intellect, not just sheepskin, as part of the evaluation process.

Of course, the same thing can be said about a proctologist.

At work, AI has really accelerated the creation of tools that nobody will use.

I really want to buy a drone to monitor law enforcement in my community. I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not -- not worried about the legal aspect.
I'm looking at small drones that don't require FAA licensing.

Convenience is the rationale of the lazy and unimaginative.

Woo-hoo! I wish I was there. I'll be there for the next one!
Go #Seahawks!
The Seahawks Superbowl victory parade has taken over 4th Avenue and neighboring streets downtown. Upwards of a million expected.

Pedestrianization on a massive scale. 🙌

A dietitian, Mike Tyson is not.
A reliable sage of healthy living, Mike Tyson is not.

Mike Tyson has had a lot of tragedy in his life, so his grasping at various coping mechanisms to deal with it is understandable.
That said, do not listen to the man about living a healthy lifestyle.
It seems Mike Tyson is confused and sending mixed messages 😎🫠

He says his sister died of obesity and a heart attack but now says he eats a lot of cheese.

Cheese is the number one source of dietary saturated fat which contributes significantly to cardiovascular risk.

NFL teams shouldn't willingly become collateral damage from the franchise destroying contracts of Kyler Murray and Tua Tagovaiola.

Let Miami and Arizona founder for the next three or four years as punishment for making those garbage deals to begin with.

This looks like a pretty neat art encyclopedia site.
Any chance I can get to expand my knowledge about art and art history is time well spent.

Am I the last one to learn about Croquis Cafe? What a cool resource.

I know there are a number of wonderful photo reference companies out there, and I use some of them. I really like the variety here.

The phrase "I'm to old for this shit" crosses my mind a LOT lately.

If a company created a technology that makes it easy for children to be exploited, turned into turnips, be bullied, commit suicide, etc., then determining age might be missing the point of the problem.

The current social media paradigm is flawed, no matter the age.
EFF is against age verification mandates, including Discord's new policy requiring face scans or IDs for full access to the platform. Here are some things to consider if you're planning to continue using Discord next month. www.eff.org/deeplinks/2...
So, You’ve Hit an Age Gate. What Now?
EFF is against age gating and age verification mandates, and we hope we’ll win in getting existing ones overturned and new ones prevented. But mandates are already in effect, and every day many

I think Bad Bunny's Super Bowl Halftime show was my favorite ever. It told a story, was amazingly choreographed on every front. Timing was impeccable. Everyone was on their A-game.

I finally saw PHANTOM THREAD yesterday, and I saw way too much of myself in Daniel Day Lewis' character, Woodcock.
Easily annoyed with interruption, chewing noise, disturbances when quiet is desired, etc. He was a lot more extreme and rude, but I felt him.

Super Bowl prediction --

A lot of people are going to whine about Bad Bunny.
A lot of people are going to praise Bad Bunny.

That is all.

One of the reasons I like my 200-600mm lens.
First image is what I took at 550mm.
Second is my crop with a little added red circle to highlight the third image, which seems to be bits of bone and seeds and other stuff. Cool!
