End of Season 2025!

That’s a wrap on the racing for 2025 and what a season it has been. The team continue to build on earlier foundations and its development ethos, which continues to provide the platform for both individual and team progression.

It has been a very busy week - straight back from La Perigord in France on Sunday, to the penultimate round of the National Circuit Series in Colne last night. A tough week with injuries and illness compounding the challenging travel schedule, but the team have ridden extremely well.

So, yet again Hess cycling team withdraw at short notice from a race, citing funding difficulties. This is totally unacceptable to riders/staff and race organisers, but above all it is unacceptable and damaging to teams like us, who are denied invitations to key races by their behaviour.

Stunning day in Belgium, GP Beveren tomorrow.

July has begun and so has Crit season! Another packed month of racing around the UK and Europe, including 5 rounds of the National Circuit series - where Kate will get to wear her new championship stripes!

First stop is Otley town centre tomorrow evening!

Fresh stripes for Kate!

@kate_richardson__ took the win in Aberystwyth this evening - earning her the title of National Champion! The damp course made for tricky racing conditions but Kate put the power down all the way to the line. What a ride and what a result. 🏆

It’s great to have the Tour of the Reservoir back on the calendar.

Another great team effort, perhaps not the result on paper we would have liked, but could not of asked for anything more from anyone.

On to Wales now for the British Championships this week.

We're back racing this weekend at the Tour of the Reservoir!

A 133km course will see the riders take on some punchy climbs around the Derwent Reservoir, County Durham. Sunday will also be the 4th race in the National Women's Series, where valuable points will be on the table.

We were rolling strong at the Tour of Britain last week with the Strade wheelset from Parcours and Vittoria Corsa Pro tyres - speed, grip, and style dialled in.

Following a crash in stage 2 of the Tour of Norway, and major surgery on her hand and wrist, Amelia has now been discharged from hospital in Stavanger.

Recover fast Amelia, we are with you every step of the way, and are sure you will be back even stronger. 💙💙💙🦄

What a week, that was at the Tour of Britain Women. Incredible to race in front of huge crowds, particularly on home roads in Scotland.
Thank you @tourofbritain for a superb week, looking forward to 2026.
Get well soon Kate and Maddie.

Lauren has a very exciting future ahead of her.

Stage 2 Tour of Britain - a big one for the team!

Day 2 brought more highs and lows today, a break of three right at the start of the race saw Maddie get a gap of over 3 minutes on the peloton for over half the race.
June 6, 2025 at 4:42 PM
Stage 1 of the Tour of Britain was a challenging one today, strong winds and strong riders made for attritional racing conditions. The team rode well though, with Lauren making it into the break, before puncturing with 3km to go.

We go again on stage 2 tomorrow!

Team Announcement

Due to unfortunate circumstances, we've made a late change to our rider lineup for the Tour of Britain. Amelia and Neah will no longer be racing, and instead Amy and Arianne will take their place.

What a weekend in Norway! 🇳🇴
June 2, 2025 at 6:49 PM
It has been an incredible few months for the team and in particular Lauren, but this weekends performance at the Tour of Norway was exceptional. In a world class field, Lauren showed what she is capable of, taking a stunning 2nd place in stage 1, 8th in stage 2 and 3rd on GC.

Lauren Dickson 🇬🇧 came onto my radar in 2024 when I was commentating on the Lancaster GP where she came 2nd.

She has grown so much as a rider and is looking like she'll be a major talent.

Top teams will be after her signature. Well done on another superbly developed rider, @albaroadteam.bsky.social
