Easily one of the most beautiful snakes on the planet, the Blue Insularis, otherwise known as the White-Lipped Pit Viper, is only found on 3 remote islands in the world, all in Indonesia.

Snakes are amazing creatures and deserve our respect!

This what we need in Australia ... 'free' electricity when it is windy.
So windy in UK at the moment energy suppliers offering ‘free’ electricity for two hours this morning. More tea vicar?

Not surprised the Royal Air Force won this cricket match - they included an Aussie from RAAF and a Kiwi from RNZAF!

The Southern Hemisphere pair, RM Mitchell and BW Turnbull, combined to score over half the runs and take half the wickets for the RAF side. 😁
During World War II, we were treated to a cricket match by the occupying British forces. Played at Melavöllur, the Royal Air Force scuttled the Royal Navy by 36 runs in 1944. It was the first official cricket match here since the 11th century.

We also learned to put vinegar on chips during WWII.
