The people of Ardmore are protesting against a €1.2 million government investment in their village because.... They won't be able to park at the seafront anymore?..

This does not compute 😄

A busy day for our volunteers!

🚑 Crews were on duty at the National Senior Hurling League Final in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, where Cork triumphed over Tipperary — Corcaigh Abú!

🐶 Meanwhile, we had a crew supporting the Dog’s Day Out at Ballymaloe.

👏 Massive thanks to all!

If this can happen in an EU country in 2025 - it can happen anywhere. We can never rest when it comes to basic human decency & equality - the weak will always fear anyone who is different. #Pride #Hungary 🏳️‍🌈

SJA has joined Blue Sky - give us a follow Cork and Ambulance people!
Our volunteers were delighted to attend an appreciation event organised by the HSE on Thursday to recognise support provided during snow storms in January of this year - our vols backed up National Ambulance Service, transported patients to appointments & medical staff to work. Well done all!

The best possible outcome for Ireland from this US visit, would be the resettlement of the Burkes and McGregor to USA - it would suit them perfectly! 😆

Ireland has 87% electric city buses? That can't be correct?
NEW: Half of new EU city buses were zero-emission in 2024, making city buses one of the early success stories of the European Green Deal.

Minister O'Brien "hopes to get the project to planning before the end of the year."

MOVE FASTER! Infrastructure projects in Ireland appear to be to planned as if we are all immortal. We'll be dead before Cork Luas hits the rails. #CorkCity

I think the only reason we haven't seen Americans take to the streets yet, is that Americans are so poorly looked after by their own state, they don't have the capacity to be enraged because they're worried about healthcare or working 3 jobs. The "American Dream".
I have covered presidential politics for 40 years. This was the most juvenile display by a President and Vice President I have ever seen. Other presidents treated their enemies with more respect. This is a low point and a dark day for the US. Totally embarrassing.
