I just spent a few days fixing my observatory shed roof which was starting to lose its integrity after 15 years. Hoping to get another 15 to 20 years from the patched version.

Some have the social ambition to have a bar at which they can ask for "the usual" and the server knows what they want. I walked into my local pharmacy today, and without any words being spoken they handed over "the usual". 😅

Relieved to find that my new telescope mount fits in my observatory, thanks to careful measuring and some 3D modelling done ahead of its purchase. It replaces the old Meade fork mount which had become unusable.

I spent some time renovating my boiler room. It was my first attempt at floor levelling and tiling.

Cleanly removing my 12" Meade LX200 from its old fork mount was tricky. I'm now waiting for a dovetail plate to arrive so I can attach it to its new Sky-Watcher mount.
