Marijuana now being a schedule 3 drug is such a win for the American public. Also an easy win for the Republicans. It’s a win that they took from Democrats and it’s ridiculous that they were able to do so. This was their thing in the 2010s and they dropped the ball. They wanted to keep the carrot.

If AOC ran with Bernie style messaging and Pete as her running mate I think they have a shot at beating Vance Rubio. Could also be Pete and AOC as V.P. Really all depends on the issues in the next few years though.

If democrats don’t learn how to change the way they communicate to the general population then they will continue to lose on the largest stages. What worked in 2020 didn’t work in 24 and won’t work in 28 if they don’t shift messaging. Time will tell.
