My point is that the Admin process is about as good as it can be under the current system.

However, due to the vast financial rewards of the Premier League and the permitted losses within the EFL system, we all crave our Sugar Daddies. By definition, that's often a dark uneven relationship.

This does not mean that the current position is in any way satisfactory, we cannot entirely “trust the process”.

Ownership tests ultimately offer very little defence against incompetence or malevolence. Today, US investors are just as likely to be on the wrong side of history as anyone else.

I truly recommend this thread, despite the opening criticism. On that, I’d say I keep across BOTH Sheffield clubs & had working knowledge of Bord’s influence - for bad - on SUFC. I care about both clubs & wouldn’t want to see such mistakes repeated at SWFC. But you go on to make great points…

I had issues with @alanbiggs1.bsky.social’s last article. Chief amongst them was that he attacked Bord with next to no evidence.

Next was the idea that we were “sleepwalking” into trouble, as if the fan base had any control of the outcome (by his measure I'm sleepwalking towards death).

All about good ownership. Everyone agrees #SWFC’s biggest asset is their enduring support. So only 2 home wins in 2025 is damning of the destruction that has to be repaired.
