Fiber is an essential nutrient that supports heart health, helps with digestion and helps lower cholesterol. You can get it from fruits, vegetables, nuts, and whole grains. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

I think this article posted by @thenutritiontea.bsky.social
is super interesting because it is all about how dieting does not have to be good food vs bad food. It shows this comic that references that a diet is subjective to change and "good" is not good for everyone. @beh353 #beh353

Nutrition research is often presented with misleading headlines that do not reflect the strength of the scientific evidence. Many studies use small samples or short term data, which can be misleading when the media presents the results as definitive cause and effect conclusions. @beh353 #beh353

I resonate with the quote, "Health improves when the body is treated consistently". The statement relates to nutrition because staying healthy is about having consistent eating habits and eating balanced meals regularly helps your body more than following short-term or trendy diets. @beh353 #beh353
Health improves when the body is treated consistently rather than criticized. Regular meals, enough sleep, and basic movement do more than extreme plans ever will. #RealWorldNutrition

I am a second year in the Pre-PA program. I was previously interested in taking a nutrition class that I was unable to fit into my schedule. What foods have specific health benefits? For healthy eating I think of the word, variety. My favorite food is definitely steak :) @beh353 #beh353
