💔 Yesterday was our first time observing Día de los Muertos de Mascotas, a remembrance day to honor lost pets. My wife set up a beautiful altar for our little guy that passed away exactly two months ago.

I’m getting ready for a big bike event in Nov and had an unexpected mini adventure during a training ride last week.

You gotta love local summer.

Shelter Island is one of my favorite semi-hidden gems in San Diego. Great views, a nice breeze and most importantly, no tourists, bar hoppers or beach crowds.

My buddy Nate pulled me into the Star Wars expanded universe this summer and I totally devored the Thrawn trilogy. Last night he surprised me with a signed copy of Zahn’s The Last Command. I’m absolutely floored.

Enjoying a very brief thundershower, a rare summertime event for San Diego.

Whoa, it’s been a decade since Halt And Catch Fire ended?!? Totally worth a rewatch. Season 1 is based on how Compaq created the IBM clone market and then it just gets better from there.

Plus the music is amazing, the perfect work tunes.
