*legasp* - Not a bird for once! How could that happen? So yeah, was out for photographing birds in the night and encountered this scene that even to me, a nature photographer, looked good.

Used dry brush techique for paintng and making the markins. overall, I think the colors blends much better and more naturally than more pasty layering. Am happy with it!

Went to photograph birds in snow but ended up with mostly birds with very little snow as it was always out of frame. Still, a bit visible on the feet of the crow here.

I love silhouettes. For some reason having recognizable very hard shapes really resonate with me. Here its a female mallard duck in the night in front of the Castle of Schwerin.
