The Emmy's have had some backlash about how their categories are affecting the awards given to TV shows that blur the lines of what is considered the definition for comedy and drama. Also, contested are limited series and shows produced for streaming.

I think I want my topic to relate to the blurred lines between comedy and drama. For instance "The Bear" has won as a comedy series even though I have heard it deals with deep topics. Also, Ted Lasso being listed as a sitcom but exploring dramatic themes. @cfuchstv2.bsky.social #304Sp26
