Hiii, I'm Kit! I use he/they pronouns, and as the tag might suggest, I draw sometimes! I want to try to get back into it again...
I also love cats and fish, and when I'm not playing FFXIV I usually like to play other RPGs!

This!! And it oftentimes doesn't even take 30 minutes, depending on the dungeon!

And one last thing! It's not... actually.... faster.... The speed at which you tear through enemies depends on how much DPS the group has. I've had single-pull runs go faster, likely because the healer had time to do something other than spam Cure.

I don't know what started this trend but I'm honestly sick of it and I shouldn't have to only run roulettes and such with my friends to avoid randoms dictating my playstyle when I'm just trying to get my stuff done for the day.

And this might make some people mad, but my new ARR character is not appropriately equipped to w2w Stone Vigil, so if you try to force me to do so, you're on your own. I think this practice is entitled and not friendly towards new players who are just starting the game for the first time.

My FFXIV hot take (apparently) is that w2w ISN'T and SHOULDN'T be standard. My main problem with people trying to strictly enforce "BIG PULLS!!!" is that they often do so for you without a) asking or b) taking gear into account.

YEAH that trial was wild... I remember not even noticing that there were turrets on the side of the map. I only got to use 'em like once or twice before the trial got replaced 😂

Yeah!! That solo duty's way more fun than the original trial!
I remember playing it the first time and feeling like I was fighting for my life... and also being relieved to find the adventuring party (that I recruited!!!) alive and resting afterwards!
