Seeking leaders at every level who prioritize the well-being of Alaskans and respect the dignity of all. I believe in actions over words. Proud Haida, hoping to make my people proud.
Today is day one for 20k Alaskans who may no longer afford health insurance due to the loss of ACA tax credits. I appreciate investments in rural health care they matter. But they don’t lower premiums. Strong health systems only work if people can afford to use them. Restoring ACA credits is urgent.

Something to think about when Voting. USPS changed postmark rules. Mail may now be postmarked days after you drop it off, based on when it’s processed at a sorting facility not when mailed. This can affect deadlines. Mail early or ask for a hand postmark, certified mail, or proof of mailing.

Interesting: Associated General Contractors is running an ad campaign (I saw an ad on Reddit) to urge Alaskans to ask their legislators to fund the construction match that Dunleavy vetoed last year — www.agcak.org/meetthematch/ #akleg #Alaska
Meet The Match
When Alaska meets the federal match, we get access to more than half a billion dollars in infrastructure funding – and we build more than roads. We build opportunity, jobs, and stronger communities fo...

For friends who are fed up and want change: this is how it happens. We speak up. We email and call our elected officials because silence changes nothing. Our political system feels like it’s jumping the shark that’s exactly why using your voice matters now more than ever.

Worried about our young people being sent to war without reason. Oil and minerals aren’t worth risking lives. Leaders must prioritize diplomacy and protect service members.

Bluesky Friends: Only 2 working days left! ACA premium tax credits are about to expire. Premiums could double, especially in rural areas, forcing many to go uninsured. Call Sen. Murkowski (202-224-6665) & Sen. Sullivan (202-224-3004) NOW!

The ACA tax credits help Alaskans actually afford their health insurance. They’re set to expire in just 21 days with no real replacement plan. Cutting people off this fast is irresponsible. If you feel led, please contact our Congressional delegation and urge them to extend the credits. #akleg

I watch international news, and our American press have lost credibility because of the news they aren’t reporting. If they are afraid for their jobs why are we watching?

The new Nat’l Security Strategy is alarming for Alaska Native communities. Increased drilling & resource development could threaten our subsistence, lands, and way of life. Our leaders must speak up now this is the moment to protect our people and our future. #akleg

When open for service in fall 2027, the two cables will provide high-speed internet to small communities in Prince William Sound and northern Southeast Alaska.

Planned fiber-optic cable will add backup for Alaska's phone and high-speed internet network
The project, set to come online in fall 2027, is expected to bring more reliable internet and phone service to several isolated coastal communities.

#akleg ... Non-compliance has doubled since pre-Dunleavy.

Looking forward to something different and hoping Alaskans will reject the many Dunleavy 2.0 candidates.
I think we’ve all perceived this as a feeling of dread just below the surface as we watch it all implode under Dunleavy’s malfeasance and negligence, but here is the empirical evidence.

And that future belongs to every one of us, not just the ones with money or influence.

War isn’t about glory it’s about staying alive. I don’t want today’s youth to ever know that reality. We owe them a world where diplomacy comes first, where we strengthen relationships with our global neighbors instead of destroying them.

The Power of Voting – Our Voice, Our Future

As an Alaskan, I can’t think of a more important moment than now to recognize just how powerful our vote truly is. Voting is not just a civic duty – it is our voice, our representation, and our protection against decisions being made about us without us.
