We have reviewed a magnitude 3.6 event that occurred at 10:51 AM AK time. This event was located 21 miles NW of Cooper Landing and was 21 miles deep.

We have reviewed a magnitude 4.6 event that occurred at 11:42 AM AK time. This event was located 11 miles NW of Wasilla and 6 miles deep.
This earthquake was felt in the Anchorage, Wasilla, and Eagle River area.

Wow, 3 notable events back to back south of Kodiak Island just now. Now one has reported them felt yet, but they were fairly shallow. Two magnitudes 4 and a M5.1. Let us know if you feel anything, and click on the Did You Feel It? link on the event page to let the USGS know as well!

Great job reporting the M4.3 event as felt throughout south-central Alaska, everyone! We have another earthquake to report, a M3.2 at 1:06 pm, 17 miles E of Anchorage and 14 miles deep. This was reported felt in Eagle River, Girdwood, & Chugiak. earthquake.alaska.edu/event/ak2026...

We just reviewed a magnitude 5.0 event that occurred at 03:32 PM AK time. This event was located 92 miles WSW of Adak and 4 miles deep. We don’t have reports of it being felt. If it was, the shaking would’ve been light. More info:

Plenty of folks chiming in about the M4.1 that occurred a few minutes ago at 5:45pm. Felt lightly in Mat-Su and Eagle River. It was highly typical for this region, about 39 miles deep inside the subducting Pacific plate.

If you are in Sitka you may well have felt the M4.0 earthquake at 12:45pm. It occurred on the Fairweather Fault 37 miles WNW of town. We had Fairweather earthquake Friday morning as well about 100 miles further north from this one. More info:

Magnitude 3.8 earthquake outside Glacier Bay at 9:35am Alaska time. This event was pretty clearly on the Fairweather fault.
